HSNY and other providers were recognized by NYC Mayor Eric Adams for their assistance in managing the asylum seeker crisis. BPHN provides services to hundreds of asylum seekers in desperate need for care. VP of Shelter Services, Dr. Xellex Rivera, and Shelter Director, Mr. Derrick Mitchell, attended the event to represent all of the staff who have worked hard to ensure that all of our clients including the asylum seekers get the support they need.
