Responsible for conducting intakes, initial skills
assessments, providing case management and offering referrals for permanent housing
placements or to other appropriate programs. Provide case management services for
participants of the Housing Solutions of New York.
Responsible for the overall supervision of the care coordinator staff to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery of services to families and individuals residing in the Emergency Housing Provider Management Program (EHPMP) facilities. The Clinical Director is responsible for supervising overseeing and monitoring documentation in client files related to client assessments, support services, community linkages and permanent housing applications, and referrals for permanent housing placements. In addition, the Clinical Director is responsible for conducting and documenting psychiatric evaluations for clients living in the EHPMP Program to assess stability and obtain documentation for supportive, and/or permanent housing applications.
Under the direction of the Director of Compliance, the Compliance Manager will monitor compliance with all applicable service delivery and management requirements under the HRA Emergency Housing Provider Management Program (EHPMP) as well as grant funded programs including; Food and Nutrition Services (FNS), Medicaid Redesign Team (MRT), Connections to Care (C2C), etc. The Compliance Manager will perform routine audits to identify potential compliance risks, create reports, monitor program data, and assist with program evaluation and improvement. Ensures organization adherence to all Company, City, State, Federal, and OTDA/DHS/HRA policies and regulations.
The Compliance Specialist monitors business processes and performs routine audits to identify potential compliance risks. The Compliance Specialist, under the direction of the Compliance Manager, will also help implement new policies, systems, or controls designed to reduce risk.
Ensures organization adherence to all agency, State, Federal, and OTDA/DHS/HRA policies and regulations.
The Director of Social Services is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and strategic oversight of social service operations within the shelter. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, client-centered, and trauma-informed services that support residents in achieving stability, independence, and successful housing outcomes.
Reporting to the Site Director, the Director of Social Services supervises social services staff and oversees all aspects of case management, service planning, and program implementation. The position ensures compliance with all applicable city, state, and agency regulations, including DHS, OTDA, and HASA requirements, while maintaining accurate documentation, audit readiness, and performance standards.
The Director of Social Services collaborates closely with operations and interdisciplinary teams to promote a safe, supportive, and coordinated service environment. Through strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and continuous quality improvement, this role advances program effectiveness and ensures that services are responsive to the diverse needs of individuals and families experiencing homelessness. .
Provides clinical leadership and oversight to a Social Services team including Case Managers, Housing specialist, and clinical interns. Additionally, the DSS will participate in or lead interdisciplinary teams including psychologists, psychiatrists, substance abuse counselors, medical professionals, representatives of government agencies, and other individuals whose goal is to help families become self-sufficient, integrated into the community, and housing independent.
The Housing Case Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to HASA clients within the Enhanced Housing Placement (EHP) program. The role involves conducting intakes, coordinating support services, facilitating housing applications, and assisting clients with maintaining housing stability. The goal is to support client independence, enhance housing retention, and promote overall well-being through direct client interaction and community linkage. The HCM will report directly to the Case Manager Supervisor and provide service linkages to benefits, financial assistance and housing placements.
Housing Specialist is responsible for assisting shelter residents in obtaining and maintaining safe, stable, and permanent housing through comprehensive housing placement services, intensive advocacy, and client-centered support.
The Housing Specialist works closely with clients, landlords, brokers, housing providers, and community partners to identify appropriate housing opportunities, address barriers to housing stability, and facilitate successful transitions from shelter to permanent housing. The position coordinates all aspects of the housing placement process, including housing applications, lease-up activities, utility connections, moving arrangements, and follow-up services, while ensuring compliance with program requirements and housing placement goals.
Residential Aides (RAs) provide direct support services to residents within DHS and EHP programs, including individuals and families receiving services through DHS and/or HRA/HASA. RAs play a critical role in fostering a safe, respectful, and structured environment that promotes stability and well-being for all residents.
The Senior Residential Aides (SRAs) provides direct oversight and supervision of assigned Residential Aides (RAs) during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and a safe, structured environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The SRA is responsible for supervising the RA staff. The SRA is responsible and accountable for delegating tasks, resolving issues, and managing day-to-day activities across assigned sites, demonstrating effective leadership and operational management. SRAs are also responsible and accountable for monitoring HRA/HASA clients, supporting program compliance, and ensuring all facility protocols are followed. EHPMP-assigned SRAs must hold F80 licensure, and all SRAs maintain food safety certification to assist with meal handling and distribution as needed.
