C.R.E.A.T.E. welcomes new residents home
Our supportive housing residence welcomed its newest residents this spring, each of them moving in with a lease of their own.

A lease, a key, a door that locks
Move-in day at C.R.E.A.T.E. looks ordinary on purpose. Residents sign a lease, collect a key, and walk into an apartment that is theirs. What makes it supportive housing is everything that stays available afterward: case management, health care coordination, and staff on site around the clock.
Most of our new residents came through HSNY shelters, where housing specialists spent months on applications, document collection, and lease-ups. Permanent housing is the point of that work, and move-in day is where it lands.
What comes next
Support does not stop at the door. Residents keep working with a case manager on employment, benefits, and health goals for as long as they want that support.
