Second No-Line Food Pantry opens in the Bronx

Our second no-line pantry is open in the Bronx, bringing choice and dignity to grocery day for hundreds of households a week.

Groceries without the line

A no-line pantry works the way a small grocery store does. Neighbors walk in, take a cart, and choose what their household actually eats. There is no queue down the block, and no pre-packed box of whatever happened to be left over.

The new Bronx location joins our first pantry and adds capacity for several hundred households a week, with fresh produce, halal and kosher options, and staples that respect the way our neighbors cook.

Who it serves

The pantry is open to anyone in the surrounding community, not only to residents of HSNY programs. No appointment, no proof of income, and no questions about immigration status.
