Works Plus is a workforce readiness initiative designed to support youth and young adults affected by the Justice System as they prepare for employment and long-term independence. The program meets clients where they are, offering flexible scheduling and individualized support that reflects each person’s needs, goals, and availability.
Works Plus follows a structured six- to eight-month timeline and provides clients with practical tools, guidance, and incentives that help build confidence and readiness for the workforce.
Works Plus serves youth and young adults ages 16 to 29 who are referred by community-based providers. Clients may be seeking their first job, re-entering the workforce, or building foundational skills for future employment opportunities.

Clients receive financial incentives for completing milestones, with payments ranging from $50 to $150 biweekly, distributed via debit card.
Works Plus helps youth build confidence, readiness, and momentum toward employment. Paid milestones provide immediate financial support while reinforcing progress and engagement. The program helps clients develop skills that support long-term employment and independence.
Referrals to Works Plus are made through community-based providers. Eligibility is based on age, referral source, and participation criteria.
